CLASS DESCRIPTION
From the creation of the world to the creation of the first Jewish family… the roots of idolatry to the recovery of monotheism by Abraham, the Tree of Knowledge to the Great Flood, there was certainly no shortage of adventure in the distant past. Hence, the Book of Genesis is arguably the most fascinating of all Biblical texts… Unfortunately, Genesis is also the most misunderstood.

The Bible has had the deepest and most profound influence on Western civilization.  Its teachings shaped our moral views, our legal codes, our science and even affected the way we think.  Yet the Bible recently has been under more attacks than any other book.  The "Bible Critics" of all kinds - from moralists and professors, to philosophers and social critics - have endless attacks against the book of books. This class will leave no stone unturned in its exploitation of the true meaning of the Torah.
